Summary:
The Inside Sales Specialist position is located at one of our established wholesale HVAC/R branch locations where we sell equipment, parts, and supplies.
Sales are performed over the phone and/or through walk-in customer traffic.
Additionally, this position also performs clerical and backorder functions as required and may fill in for the warehouse when needed.

Responsibilities:
Service walk-in and be primary point of contact with telephone customers Order Management locate equipment/parts, handle delivery issues, warranty, and credit issues with customers Support Building Automation Division with identification and sourcing of parts Follows up on all orders to assure that materials are correct and sorted Provide customer product and service needs by researching products via computer systems, catalog, telephone or other reference sources Maintain a stable of knowledge on core products from Belimo, Johnson Controls, Honeywell and others via industry or internal training Apply suggestive selling techniques and upsell to current and prospective customers When required, provide customer service or call-ins after normal working hours Keeps Management informed on matters of importance regarding customer service Contributes to a team effort by accomplishing results as needed Contribute to Allentown branch sales for HVAC, Refrigeration and Applied Product divisions when time permits Assist with diagnosing electronic temperature control systems.
Recommend system repairs and replacements as required Work with ATC engineers and component sales staff to develop customer quotations Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and meet regularly with customers to become familiar with operating problems and proposed solutions.
Keep customers informed on the nature of service provided, outstanding issues and estimated timelines Adhere to all company and client policies and safety standards, and maintain safety standards on worksites Assist with customer training on systems operations
Qualifications:
Experience in wholesale and HVAC industry required 1-2 Years' Experience In Building Controls/BAS, Electrical, HVAC mechanical or equal experience required High school diploma or GED is required and some college coursework is preferred Good organizational skills Effective communication, both verbally and in writing Proficient with computers and other technologies Proficient in Microsoft Office -- Outlook, Word, Excel Must be 21 years old and have a valid drivers license with a clear driving record Knowledge of air conditioning, heating, and ventilation equipment at a wholesale distribution level.
Proven success in sales and providing excellent customer service Strong interpersonal skills including sales, problem solving and customer service focus absolutely required Ability to work independently but meet assigned goals and objectives in designated time frames.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
